I am so dorky and so awkward and this photo is really testing my goal to not judge how I come out in pictures so harshly especially next to these gorgeous women, but I did it. After two other missed opportunities, and even if I was literally shaking, I finally spoke to and got my picture with @daisygrenade.

These girls have been a staple in my musical rotation this entire year and quickly became a favorite after first seeing them perform at @sadsummerfest.

Although I couldn't articulate myself properly to them, I have to say these girls are the kind of influence I wish I had to look up to when I was younger. Beautiful, talented, strong, quirky, and bit dark. Even as a woman in my 30s these ladies and their music gives me the confidence boost I seem to always need. 🌼💣

We unfortunately only got to go camping once this summer, but wow was it an adventure!

Someone (or a group of someone's) thought it would be entertaining to steal our food throughout the night. Crackers. Hot dog buns. A potato. Pizza crust. And so much more!

Despite mischievous thieves we did get to see the Milky Way, the Perseids Meteor Shower, and the northern lights even made an appearance!

Final @sadsummerfest photo dump - Main reason I went was to see @themaineband and @daisygrenade in a smaller venue after seeing them earlier this year on tour with @falloutboy. Used to be a fan of The Maine in high school but hadn't paid much attention to them since. Discovered Daisy Grenade for the first time at the show. Since that @falloutboy show both have been a staple in my musical rotation and I can't wait to see them both again @whenwewereyoungfest next month!
