Roe V Wade Officially Overturned – What the Hell is Happening?

    June 26, 2022 / 0 Comments

I've collected my thoughts and I'm ready to share. Kind of. Sort of. Although a part of me wants to censor myself, compose myself in a more polite way and present my thoughts in a calm and collected matter, everything happening right now is too important. This all matters too much. And whenever I censor myself I risk losing my emotion and my thoughts so here we go!

The Silence – Saying Goodbye and Learning How to Live without my Best Friend

    June 19, 2022 / 1 Comment

Today is Father's Day, a tough day in general for me. I didn't want to publish this today, but this day is now hard for two reasons. One because I miss my dad, but two because this is the first "sad" holiday I have to get through without Tickle. Tickle not only got me through the hardest times, but she also got me through the reminders of the hard times, birthdays, and special holidays for loved ones who passed. Not only am I having to learn how to get through death without Tickle, I'm also going to have to learn to get through the hard days without her.

Murphy Ranch – Old Nazi Compound in the Santa Monica Mountains

    June 5, 2022 / 2 Comments

Did you know there is an old Nazi sympathizer compound hidden away in the Santa Monica Mountains? (Or at least the start of what was to be a Nazi sympathizer compound.) Accessible via a moderately rated 3.4-mile hike in Rustic Canyon, Murphy's Ranch is a peek into some of the bizarre histories of LA.

Got it in just under the wire. Tomorrow is the f Got it in just under the wire.

Tomorrow is the first day of fall and every summer I try to do my favorite hike, The Bridge to Nowhere.

This summer time got away from me and as we approached the final weekend of the season I still had not hiked to my favorite spot. So @ge_rar_doh and I had no choice but to spend last Saturday deep in Azusa Canyon.

11 miles, 7 hours, and 6 water crossings 🌞

Cannot stand sitting in traffic but I will take a Cannot stand sitting in traffic but I will take a road trip any day. Love traveling to brand new places, taking back roads, and exploring tiny hidden treasures in towns you never knew existed. Nothing beats a road trip, whether you're driving 4 hours or 4 days.

Live music is magic. Live music brings me back to Live music is magic. Live music brings me back to life. And live music touches you in a way that I can't really describe...that all sounds super cheesy and over blown but that's exactly how I feel.

@falloutboy is my favorite band. Have been for over 15 years. Their music means so much to me and their songs have gotten me through so many things. From big memories to small so many of their songs can transport me back to a vivid moment in time.

I could go on and on and never find the right words to express what last night was like for me or what this band means to me, so I'll spare you a long ramble and instead I'll just share this clip that oddly enough made me tear up 🥹 since I can't share anything else because my horrible scream singing covers up everything else.
