Krispy Kreme Gobbles of Gratitude Ranked Worst to Best
In case you weren't aware, like me up until this morning, Krispy Kreme has launched some Thanksgiving-themed doughnuts and I tried each and every one of them this morning! Now that I've had some time to sit on and contemplate my Thanksgiving Dozen, I'm ready to share with you my ranking of all four limited-edition Krispy Kreme Thanksgiving-themed doughnuts.

Mochi Donuts from Modo
Chewy. Fluffy. Sweet. The most amazing, mind-blowing, sweet treat experience of my life. It’s been months and I still have not come up with an accurate, fair way to describe Modo’s mochi donuts. A hybrid of traditional American donuts and Japanese mochi, these sweet delights are made with sweet glutinous rice and, as Glutto Digest so eloquently explains it, “after these donuts are fried, the result is a slightly crispy exterior with a surprisingly chewy interior.” At Modo and other locations that serve mochi donuts, they are then covered with a variety of coatings and toppings adding an extra textural experience. The Other Pink Box
As a SoCal girl, I know that the best doughnuts come in a pink box. Krispy Kreme can be nice, and I enjoy Winchell’s and Dunkin’ Donuts, but the absolute best doughnut will always be found in a local shop with a pink box. It’s fact. Ask anyone in California.
